These huts like many more all across the country were used post war by squatters. Then the local councils took most over for council housing.
Plan.
One of the huts used by a local family.
From Dermot Grahams website : 1950. After the war, there was a great shortage of housing and so the local council used buildings on a nearby disused airfield as temporary homes and this was where we lived for nearly 2 years at Long Newnton. 1938 - 2007
