Les Landes the road that runs behind Maupertus/Cherbourg Aéroport. To get out on Osteck, you take the track. In dry weather its fairly good for a car.

Crew entrance on the left, the open centre is to allow the 2cm Flak gun to enter and leave. Its a widish cap and would have had bulks of wood used to block it off, to allow some protection from shrapnel and bullets. To the right a small niche for posibly the connections to the HQ and anti-aircraft control. To inform them of a coming attack or to ceice fire. The picture is taken from on the top of the small crew shelter.
The pipes more later.

Looking in through the guns entrance. A large flat area where the guns three feet would have sat. And supprisingly the guns did not vibrate and move around on their feet. But stood very still. It shows how good the recoil on the guns was.

The tubes or what ever you call them.
I think they are armoured/concrete covers for communications cable. The cables would aready be armoured, the telephone cable inside a stron sheath of soft metal (Lead?)
