The six 10.5cm C/32 guns were key components of the 2./Marine Flak Abteilung 703 battery stationed at Kerlédé, designed to defend the port area against Allied air raids.

I believe this was an ammunition bunker, an Fl246.

Fl246 ammunition bunker for a Flak batterie. This bunker is a huge warehouse with long corridors to store ammunition and smaller rooms for 2cm Flak and machine gun ammunition. Also a room for fuses, if needed. To me, something I can never understand is the fact that there are stairs going down into the bunker, so all ammunition that enters the bunker has to be man-hauled down steps in and then up steps out. It requires a lot of men and time to load and then unload.

The site was located in the countryside at the time of the war. Now, the area is entirely covered by housing.

The Belvédère de Kerlédé serves as a vantage point overlooking the site of the former Batterie Kerlédé (Nz311), which housed the 2./Marine Flak Abteilung 703 during the war.

The site was equipped with 10.5cm Flak guns.

This is a range finder, specifically the Fl304 fire control post used for the heavy anti-aircraft battery.

This is how the whole area looked post-war; there was a dire need of housing due to the devastating bombing of the city and port. Consequently, these prefabricated houses were built in the ruins of the town.
