Batterie 10./M.A.A. 240. 4 x R671 Casement. 1 x M262 Fire control post for a light batterie. 1 x R667 Casemate for a 5cm KwK.. 1 x R612 Casemate for an assault gun. 10 x Feldm shelters. 5 x Unterstands shelters. 1 x Vf61a Tobruk for a 5cm fortress mortar. 1 x 7.62cm F.K.39(r) Anti landing gun. 3 x 2cm Flak 28. 1 x 5cm KwK L/60. 4 x 10.5cm Uto L45 U-boat gun. The two destroyed R671 casemates, probably had ammunition that was lying around and it was blown up by the Engineers.

Rommel visiting the battery. R671 casemate and a 10.5cm Uto L45. The gun was destined for a U-boat (Uto) but as there were more guns than boats they were channeled down onto the Atlantikwall and into a defensive roll in a casemate.

Vf61a mortar Tobruk. This mortar could shower a vast area around the bunker with these small but lethal bombs. A very fast firing rate.

"I spent all my childhood at Stella beach, every day we passed by the bunkers that were located between the campsite and the beach. We used to hurt our feet all the time because of the hundreds of pieces of barbed wire. Every day we found rifle shells, scrap metal. Unfortunately, no photos... at the time, photographs were rare because it was expensive. the municipal campground was occupied by families of coal mine workers ... Poland peoples came on holiday to Stella, families and children, scouts". Phillippe.
