Railway batterie E 765 sitting in a valley lined up directly with Dover. These railway guns were brought here to seal off the channel to allow German forces to land on England in Operation Seelöwe 1940/41. Two turntables were built with two large ammunition bunkers. Many defence and small bunkers littered around the area and its own Flak Gruppe of four 2cm Flak and three 5cm KwK Pak guns.

On the hill to the north were more positions, a barracks, Flak, ammunition and Wellblech bunker.
Behind the village Flak magazine, Wellblech, Wasser bunker,
a concrete road.
