Wn139 Aumeville Lestre, St. Vaast

I have not visited this batterie position, but would like to one day. It I believe was an early battery and was not updated by June 44 to have casemates. It was on the files of Operation Neptune dated 1943.

1 - Anti aircraft guns.
2 - Personnel shelters.
3 - Barracks.
4 - Small niches (Pos. ammunition?).
5 - Field bunkers.
6 - Tobruk's.
7 - 4 x gun positions.

This is a Bigot map dated May 1944 and still shows the batterie in place and above it may cave been its command post and fire direction. There is nothing from SHM on this extra site?

Bigot was the code word for people 'In the Know of Overlord (D-Day)' a privileged group.
Thank you to SD for his help.
