INFORMATION:
On the 25th of June TG 129 a Task Group of US and British battle ships duelled with the shore batteries off Cherbourg. This was one that seems to have come off rather worse for wear. Also after its capture the young engineers were probably having fun blowing up the ammunition and mines left behind?
