INFORMATION:

A plan of Manningford RLG. There were no buildings just a wind sock. Opened 1939 as a relief landing ground for RAF Upavon CFS flying Avro Tutors, practicing takeoffs and landings and circuits. No.29 EFTS Clyffe Pypard took over from 1942 with Magisters and Tiger Moths. Transferred to Yatesbury in 1946 and closed down 1947.
