INFORMATION:

At the cross roads of Les Quatre Nations red square is the quarry. Part of the construction and defence of this area.

The ridge that the quarry site is on, and the east/west road D42, was part of the Quineville line set up after D-day. In several publications it states that 'quarry site was turned into defended strong point'. The yellow circle is the HQ of the 1261/HKAR at StP137.
