INFORMATION:

Four 'C' type sheds in a semi circle and the watch office in the centre.
When these airfields (RAF stations) were designed, most planes were fabric covered and needed to be kept inside hangars. As the second world war started. Planes started to be all metal construction and could be stored outside.
