Position Kriegsmarine.
300feet up a steep cliff and in front of the lighthouse, was a German Naval radar set. Two radars I believe working together to glean the details of allied aircraft flying in and out of France. Radar is a very complicated subject and there are batter people than me to explain the subject.

These two foundations with rings of bolts are for pre WW1, 95mm Mle 1888-04 (f) guns. These guns were often mounted in front of Sémaphore or lighthouses along the French coast.

Observation & defence post. Lookouts here would have watch out for commando attacks which happened early in the war, quite frequently. The cliffs were mined and large shells were hung down on ropes, with electrical firring mechanisms. Flame throwers electrically fired. Roll bombs. Barbed wire & a n anti-tank ditch.

War is over and 1954 construction was started on so many heavily damaged buildings, throughout Europe.
