This is the 1944 defence plan of the area and it seems to show that the railway was the inner defence of StP Villers sur Mer, with Champs Rabats Carrefour (crossroads) and Pre-le Hoex railway crossing. Both having the same sort of defence, and use a 5cm KwK L/60 Pak in either a Ringstand or in an earth emplacement. Vill017 Stab of the Heeres Küsten Artillerie Abteilung 1255. (HQ Army Artillery 1255) Vill030 - I/744 is the Stab Gren.Reg.744 (HQ Grenadier Regiment 744).
