Ra141 St-Lunaire Impasse du Faudet. K.V.U. Festung St-Malo, K.V.Gruppe Rance, KVA A1, AOK 7.

We found this bunker purely by accident as we were looking for Ra144 on the hill above.

 

 

Set in the suburbs of St-Lunaire an area that was starting to be populated by quite large holiday homes, this plot was empty so maybe that is why a bunker was built on this plot.

The plot today but not that long ago it was covered in trees.

I presume it will be a building plot very soon.

At this end is a reinforced concrete dome protecting an aerial slot.

 

 

 

This could be a Tetrahedral beach defence that may have been used as a road block in the town.

Now why is a railway line here?? a lot of railway lines were used in the defence of Dinard. They were sunk in the ground to make beach and rod blocks.
