RAF Marston Moor
Bomb Store
160to166 - Bomb Store 5461/40 There were four of these stores all connected by a good roadway. Quite long bomb trains, towed by a farm tractor around the bomb store roads. The road layout was designed so the tractors could drive around easy curves and on a one way system, not need to make difficult manoeuvres.

As you can see from the two air photos, this bombs store is still there, in 2000 parts of the earth travers was extant and in 2022 its all gone, but the buildings still being used.
