StP186 'Wiesbaden', Breslau radio/radar
STP · K.V.Gruppe Gris Nez · AOK 15 Nord Pas de Calais · France
StP186 Wiesbaden,
StP186 Wiesbaden is a Luftwaffe station in a group of several other airforce radio/radar units around the area. The height of the hill helps and the view over the channel. There is a Fire Control Post (Peilstand) probably used by one of the local artillery batteries to cover the inland area if invaded by the dreaded British.

Sat out in the field on the other side of the road is this Unterstand, it just looks like a one roomed building with some odd possibly defence related shaped stone emplacements around the sides. A chimney, so it had heating.

This is another on the western side, we did not walk over to it (big mistake) so will next time. But it does look like the Unterstand over the road.

I feel this was a blast wall where a wooden shed would have been placed inside to allow some form of protection.
