Batterie 7./1716. 4 x 10cm leF.H.14/19(t).

1 x Feldmassig.

1 x Kaverne.

1 x 2cm Flak 30.

"The "Kavernes" of the WN 28a are quarries of building stones. They occupy a whole sector: Bény-sur-Mer, Fontaine-Henry and Basly. They have been closed for years and there are many. The quarries were inhabited by refugees whose houses had been destroyed by bombing, before June 6 and after June 6. The quarries of Bény / Fontaine-Henry would also have housed German soldiers serving the battery of Moulineaux when they were attacked by Allied planes"       Bien amicalement, Jean-Pierre.

Allied Intelligence report of where the batterie was situated. A 2cm Flak 30 was used for AA defence, this plan seems to show two Flak positions..

A batterie of 10cm LeF.H.14/19(t) on the move. The horses were kept right up until the invasion of Normandy and if the batteries could escape the allied advances. They would be pulled out by thier horses and right back into Belgium as thee of the guns did from Wn01 Merville Batterie.
