Now sealed up the short tunnel into a three roomed underground bunker.

Inside with in the middle of the wall a chimney for heating, there were two places for heating stoves, you can just see the second in the last room.

This picture is of an bunker that is the same design at StP234 Batterie Hamburg east of Cherbourg.

The last room with the exit running out into a trench system to Wn63.
During the battle, this would have been a very busy place, they would be trying to send out and receive telephone and radio signals to give out and receive orders. casualties would have been brought in for protection as it was so well places, it did not get bombed or blasted.
