INFORMATION:
There were three types of radar used on Portland. The Verne was a CHEL (Chain Home Extra Low), the
Westcliff was CHL (Chain Home Low) and Rotor at the south of the Verne on the east cliff.
Verne CHEL.

Westcliff CHL.
Later a Rotor radar system was built south of the Verne.
